I am using BJJ(Brazillian jiu jitsu) that origin from Brazil as my self defense. Bjj is a martial art and combat sport that focuses on grapping and ground fighting. Normally at street fighting those people are using standing style for fighting called stand fighting but brazillian jiujitsu is totally different. Brazillian Jiujitsu more concentrate on ground fighting we call it “grapping” is a big different of fighting style. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu emphasizes taking an opponent to the ground and utilizing ground fighting techniques and submission holds involving joint-locks and chokeholds also found in numerous other arts with or without ground fighting emphasis. The people who using jiu-jitsu will trying to take down or pull the attacker to the ground position.
Majority of people will think that a person with small size will lose while face the big size person in fighting. In contrast, bjj make it possible for a small size and weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger assailant by using leverage and proper technique—most notably by applying joint-locks and chokeholds to defeat the other person on the ground.
